Appointment Overview:
At Willow Bend Dental, we typically reserve 2.5 hours for your initial appointment. Upon your arrival at our office, we will go over the necessary paperwork, including collecting any dental insurance information. If desired, you may download the New Patient Forms to fill out at home and bring with you. Many patients enjoy the convenience this time-saving option offers. Next, we will review medical history and smile evaluations, take any needed x-rays and intra-oral digital photos of your teeth. Then, you'll meet with your dental hygienist who will check for cavities and periodontal or gum issues. This information will be reviewed by your dentist, either Dr. Beougher or Dr. Laura Simon. Your dentist will perform a thorough tooth-by-tooth exam, while pointing out findings and asking about your chief concerns. You will be told about your oral condition and, if desired, you will be told about appropriate cosmetic and restorative procedures available to you. The final part of your initial visit includes a thorough teeth cleaning, which removes hardened deposits not removed by routine cleaning, and oral hygiene instructions from your hygienist.
Diagnosis and Treatment Planning
Upon completion of your initial visit, we will review your diagnosis and treatment options, sequence, and fees. For patients with cosmetic concerns, a computer enhanced cosmetic image may be available to take home. The financial and dental insurance experts at Willow Bend Dental will offer an estimate your expected out-of-pocket expense for each recommended procedure. Several financing and payment options are available.
Traditional Dental Insurance
For our patients with traditional dental insurance, you are only responsible for the portion of the fee not covered by insurance. Most plans have a $25-$50 deductible that is due at the time of services. Once your dental insurance has submitted payment, any portion of the fees not covered by your plan will be billed. All outstanding balances are due within thirty days. For major treatment, it is sometimes necessary to submit a pre-determination to the insurance company in order to assure that the recommended procedures are covered. The insurance professionals at Willow Bend Dental will handle all of your dental insurance needs electronically at no additional charge.

Patients Without Dental Insurance
Our office accepts MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, cash, and personal check for dental care. Payments for your visits are expected at the time of service. A 10% reduction in fee is offered for patients paying the entire fee using cash or personal check.
Patient financing is offered through SpringStone Financial, CareCredit, and ChaseHealth.
