We believe in taking the time to listen and understand your long-term goals, your vision for your oral and overall health, your expectations, timelines and life circumstances because we realize that all of these factors affect your ability to choose and follow through with the type of dentistry that is right for you. We find that individuals strive for different levels of health and we honor that. Many of our patients come to us seeking regular hygienic care, while others have sought us for our expertise in reconstructive, implant, and cosmetic dentistry. Some have even contacted us in severe discomfort. Whatever the reason, our trained experienced staff will help make your first appointment appropriate to your needs and desires. Our Approach

Willow Bend Dental typically reserves two and one half hours for your initial New Guest appointment. Upon arrival at our office we will go over all of your paperwork including any dental insurance information. Our New Guest Coordinator will review medical history and smile evaluations, take needed x-rays, and intra oral digital photos of your teeth. Then one of our highly trained dental hygienists will expertly probe the mouth with a DIAGNOdent^TM instrument to check for cavities and any periodontal or gum problems. This information is thoroughly reviewed by Dr. Beougher or Dr. Irvine.

Dr. Beougher or Dr. Irvine can then perform a complete tooth by tooth exam pointing out their findings while listening to your chief concerns. During this very thorough exam we are generally able to assess your oral condition and offer cosmetic and restorative suggestions.

The final part of your initial visit generally includes a cleaning and hygiene instructions from one of our hygienists.

Our Diagnosis and Treatment Planning

Upon completion of our diagnostic work, our New Guest Coordinator will then carefully go over your diagnosis, treatment options, treatment sequence, and treatment fees. For patients with cosmetic concerns, a computer enhanced cosmetic image is available to take home in most cases.

The financial and dental insurance experts at Willow Bend Dental are able to accurately estimate your expected out-of-pocket expense for each recommended procedure. Several financing and payment options are available.

For Our Patients with Traditional Dental Insurance

For our patients with traditional dental insurance, you are only responsible for the portion of the fee not covered by insurance. Most plans have a $25-$50 deductable that is due at the time of services. Once the dental insurance has paid, any portion of the fees not covered by your plan will be billed. All outstanding balances are due within thirty days.
For major treatment, it is sometimes necessary to submit a pre-determination to the insurance company in order to assure that the recommended procedures are covered. The insurance professionals at Willow Bend Dental will handle all of your dental insurance needs electronically, expertly, and at no additional charge.

If you are a part of a PPO plan, please be sure to inform our appointment secretary when making your appointment, so we can make sure we are a preferred provider. Please contact our office for more information.

For Our Patients Without Dental Insurance

Our office accepts MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, cash, and personal check for dental care. Payments for your visits are expected at the time of service.
A 10% reduction in fee is offered for patients paying the entire fee using cash or personal check.
Patient financing is offered through SpringStone Financial, CareCredit, and ChaseHealth.
