Dr. Ritchie Beougher

Dr Ritchie BeougherDr. Beougher, the youngest of 4 children, grew up on a wheat farm in an all American small country town of Hayes, Kansas.  In his early teen years, while visiting his oldest brother, in Austin, Ritchie experienced the legendary growth and development of Texas and knew that one day he would make his home in the Lone Star State. With a strong desire to study dentistry and an unshakable work ethic, Dr. Beougher graduated from the University of Kansas followed by 4 years at the University of Missouri – Kansas City, where he obtained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, and completed his residency in the United States Navy in San Diego, CA.

Finally making his way to Texas, Dr. Beougher settled in Plano and established Willow Bend Dental in 1986.  It was here that he met and married Mary Davis, a true Texan and Plano native. Together, Dr. Beougher and Mary have built a dental practice founded on their passion for always being on the leading edge of dental technology and consistently providing compassionate and outstanding patient care and service.  In 1996 Willow Bend Dental was the first dental practice in Texas to offer laser teeth whitening.  In 2004 they opened their newly constructed, state-of-the-art dental building specifically designed to accommodate the latest technologies in dental care as well as provide a soothing and relaxing spa-like environment for the comfort of their patients.

Dr. Beougher has continued his education through the years with completed graduate courses from the Masters Program at the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies, University of Alabama the Rosenthal Institute in New York City and the Aesthetic Advantage program at Palm Beach University.  Upon graduating from the Rosenthal Institute and the Aesthetic Advantage programs he was invited to return to both of these schools as a Clinical Instructor.  For many years, Dr. Beougher, Mary and their children all traveled together around the country on weekends so he could share his knowledge and teach others as a Clinical Instructor.

In their life outside of the dental practice, Dr. Beougher and Mary spend their time at sporting events; in church activities; and in breeding and raising Quarter Horses and Labrador Retrievers.   For relaxation and a return to their roots, they retreat to their family ranch to enjoy the peaceful beauty of the outdoors, the cattle and horses, the fresh early mornings, and the star-studded nights so famous in Texas.
